I feel like I’ve made something magical. Check out this side project I’ve done.
I’m part of the creative team for the iTalk group on Brigham Young University-Idaho. The group has three major events. One is a symposium called WeTalk, a debate-style event called TheyTalk, and a Ted-Style event called iTalk.
For the TheyTalk event coming up, the topic was about whether the Boy Scouts of America should allow girls into their programs. My creative team was assigned to make a poster for the event.
When I was growing up, many action movies had heroes with catchphrases.
I made a sticker set using Adobe Illustrator that contains twelve designs of characters from the games Portal and Portal 2.
I made this as a personal project just for fun, and I had a lot of fun. I especially enjoyed creating the Robots in the middle.
Here’s how they turned out.
I grew up watching the movie, “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure.” The quirky and dry humor of the movie made it a constant family favorite that I eventually was able to quote along. Included in the movie, however, was a conspiracy that was played off in the movie, but in reality is one of the greatest questions of the 20th century.
I, like most people, get songs stuck in my head. Sometimes, though, it leads to me thinking up of designs.
Many dads have had the situation of wanting to do something fun with their daughters, but all they want to do is have imaginary tea parties with their dad and dolls. With no offense intended for your little princesses, this design is for you.
